“Mr. Sullivan, I wish to express my gratitude and admiration for the staff at Daniels House. Dottie, Janine (and Ann in particular) are the epitome of kindness and professionalism. Their wonderful attitude is reflected by the rest of the employees. Everyone does her job cheerfully and well. I am delighted to have my mother in their capable hands.”
“Daniel’s House Nurses and Staff: My sisters and I would like to thank you for all the wonderful care that you all gave our mother for the last three years of her life. We must tell you that you all were great to her and we always felt comfortable when ever we came to see her, it was like having an extended family. The nurses were just fantastic with us when ever we had questions or concerns for mom, even though we knew at times we bothered you with something small or perhaps not as important to you as it was to us, you never let us know. We will always feel that we found a gem in Daniel’s House.”
“I would like to thank everyone at the Daniels House in Reading for the wonderful and attentive care they provided my father during the last two years of his life. Da (as we called him) loved sitting outdoors, but his legs were not steady and was always at risk for a fall. The staff would take him outside to the front bench and make sure he was seated. He would sit and enjoy the sun and listen to his radio. When he was ready to come in, he would ring a bell they provided him and they would come and assist him back inside. This is one example of the extra effort Janine, Dotty, Sue, Ann, Pamela, Chris and all the staff at the Daniels House put forth to try to afford the patients some comfort and dignity.”
“Dear Mr. Sullivan, Our father was a resident of Daniel's House Nursing Home in Reading, Mass. from September 1999 until his death on December 7,2001. During this time, he received excellent care from all of the staff. From the time he became a resident, he was comfortable within his new home. Despite his Alzheimer's, he participated in numerous activities because the staff encouraged him and more importantly they treated him with dignity and respect. We always felt at home when we visited Dad and knew he was well taken care of when we were not there.”
“Dear Mr. Sullivan: My aunt was at Daniels House Nursing Homes in Reading from September, 2000 until June 12th of this year when she passed away. She was 96 years old. I just wanted to tell you that my family and I were pleased with the care she received while there. It is a homey place and she was able to know a lot of the people.”
